Haley Sherlock

Recovery Advocate · Community Builder · Trusted Connector

Haley Sherlock is a dynamic addiction recovery advocate, community builder, and the Executive Director of Heart of Newton. Based in Oxford, Georgia, Haley is a driving force in transforming regional peer support systems and creating vital bridges between immediate crisis response and long-term healing.

Under her leadership, Heart of Newton brings people together through localized outreach, resource networks, community education, and stigma-reduction efforts. Her work also includes pioneering high-impact peer support initiatives, including emergency department programs with Walton Empowers, where people facing overdose or addiction crises are met with empathy and guidance from someone who understands.

Driven by the belief that “life gets different,” Haley blends strong leadership with a deeply collaborative spirit. She is also a devoted wife, mother, and trusted friend who grounds her work in faith, family, and the power of authentic human connection.

Life gets different. — Haley

Built with community

No one person creates a recovery community.

Heart of Newton grows because peers, volunteers, families, recovery allies, local leaders, and community partners keep choosing to show up for one another.
